Barrel for S&W 66-2

ok,so where is a good place to get a barrel for a S & W 66-2 in 357 ? I called a gunsmith today,your $50 answer you gave me was right on the money..but he wants $300 to order a barrel,I am guessing there is a cheaper one out there somewhere...Thanks,Oro

keep checking the auctions under gun parts, used barrels (or parts sets) come up from time to time quite reasonable.
