this rifle looks like a sporting rifle with a monte carlo stock what would be the value of this gun in very good condition

Welcome to the forums......... I bought an all original Remington O3A3 in excellent shape a couple years ago for $500.00.

Guns that have been sporterized from their original configuration generally sell for less.

Because the 03 A3's were being sold so cheep through the NRA in the early 60's, ( I payed $17.00 for mine ). Folks didn't think twice about sporterizing them, for a deer rifle.

They show up ( the sporterized ones ) on the two big on-line auctions regularly. Don't pay any attention to the asking prices, just what they are actually selling for. This will put you in the ballpark, as to the value for the rifle your inquiring about.

I would expect to pay $150-200 for one.
