Does anyone have access to an FEA modeling tool?

If you do, I have a simple question.
If you model the crossection of a steel barrel:
1. at room temperature
2. initially assuming the material is completely normalized and no internal stresses are present
3. assume ID = .308" and OD = .75" (random choice)
And then make the following change to the model
4. raise the temperature by 50 deg F
The questions:
A. Will internal stresses in the metal be present due to the change in temperaure and where?
B. What change in stresses did the FEA analysis actually show?
C. What were the new ID and OD?
D. If you did this in school, what class was it in? (not just temp change and expansion coeff's, but with the answer to "A" above). Still have your book? Can you name it?

It is my understanding that normally, both the inside and outside of the tube expand when heated. There is however, a point to were if the inside diameter is small enough, the ID will actually become smaller due to the expansion of the metal.
I'll post here what I find out.
I was also hoping that someone would know of a book to look at. I'll call the dean of engineering at the local university if I can't find it.
