found this yesterday 12ga. coach gun 20in barrels exposed hammers. universal sptg.goods Hielieah fl-15 mod. toz26. s/n c170.mfg. Tula USSR. what do i have?? is it safe to shoot. ???value. thanks Z

    If it's marked with the Universal name it would date to at least the 1980's. The shotgun your inquiring about is better known as the Baikal. It was imported from Russia and sold by a number of U.S. distributors over the years. The last that I'm aware of, was E.A.A., when it was sold as the Bounty Hunter. If yours is in good shape and hasn't been screwed with it should be safe. Take to a COMPETENT gunsmith for inspection and test firing, if you have any doubts, on this.
