About the only option is to have a set custom made. I tried for years to find a set that would fit, or could be modified to fit a drilling I had. There are too many styles and sizes of claw mounts. This is going to be an expensive project.

I was quoted a price of $200 to build a set about 25 years ago. I sold the gun without ever having rings made. $450 is about what I would have expected in 2007 dollars. That is what I meant by "expensive project".

    click,

The 'guy' is actually a company:

    New England Custom Gun

    www.newenglandcustomgun.com/clawmounts.html

I'm having a problem accessing the site so they may be doing some fixing or updating.

This is a gunsmith that specializes in claw mounts:

    Joseph Lee LeBas III

    LeArmes Inc.

    L & L Enterprises

I got a quote of $600 from NECG for a set for an old Mannlicher-Schoenauer 1910. And the claw mounts are reputedly custom-made, hand-fitted, and not interchangeable. So far I haven't been able to bring myself to spend that much.
