Can a DAO Webley Enfield no2mk1,be altered to single,double action
w/hammer. Have seen information that shows interchanged parts with
Webley models. Any info helpful.

    I have one also.
    Weak sister cartridge though.
    Seems to me I recall that the Brits not only wanted to make the revolver snag-free but (less publicized) faster and cheaper too. I'll bet that meant the action was simplified to cost less - and also meant they left out the machining for a single action. Just a guess.
    Buy one S/D Webley and its there you'll be with a decent power cartridge.
