wincheste 1903 forearm query

did winchester make a different forearm for the 1903 22 automatic rifle? I have two, and one forearm is much thicker and wider than the other, and I can't find any information on this. thanks

    Winchester only made one size forestock for the Model 1903. I would guess (without the benefit of seeing it) that the thicker stock is either a non-factory made piece, or it was made for the Model 1903's big brother, the Model 1905 or 1907.
