This firearm is listed on the internet as 80% with damage to stock and forearm caused from "misuse of cleaning fluid". What would you estimate this gun's value to be? I'm considering a maximum offer of $180.

"Value" is defined as the amount that someone is ready, willing, & able to pay at a specific time. If it is listed at an auction, all you have to do is sit back & watch what it sells for.

You've already told us that it is worth $180 to you, so make a bid in that amount. You may even get it for less.

    Personally, I wouldn't pay > $50 for it.

there is no collectors value, shooter only. I think $150 would be closer
I would want to see pics

I had a marlin that I traded in for to a store and got 150, it was probably 90-93%. I could have gotten 200 probably if I went elsewhere. Something like that I would pay tops 150 maybe more like 100-125. Figure brand new that gun can be had for 350-400. Depending on whats wrong with the stock, you could get a good deal on it and refinish the stock, i would be more worried if something was messed up with the metal. But these guns are pretty common and can be had just about anywhere, so you have more bargaining power than the seller i would think
