savage 24 c series S 22/20 ga. value?

i have this 20 in. bbl 24c savage mod.24 i havent usede it much the last 10 years and want a 20 ga slide or semi auto. its a plain shotgun. bluing begining to brown on reciever,in really ok cond. the usual field scrapes. shoots STRAIGHT ,short gun about 36 il total length.ABOUT how old is it,and ABOUT what could i expect to get for it.nothing wrong with it at all,shooting habits just changing,switching out my coolction. any help appreciated. thanks charlie mfg westfield mass

    I think you'll find that, as popular as they are, they will bring more than that.

    thanks bill and henry,like every thing else, opinion is opinion.really appreciate having knowledgeable people to talk to. ive got three or so pieces i used to use a lot, three i STILL use.im being encouraged to move these unused pieces out,which is why ive joined your forem. how and how much,and how do i do it?. thanks for your willingness to offer ways to make up my mind and your obvious patience.

    I think he stated that his Savage is a Model 24C SERIES "S". A Model 24C is the Camper's Companion version with the shorter barrel (20") and the carry case. It also has a trapdoor in the buttstock to hold additional ammo. Manufactured 1972-88. The Model 24S is a different model that was manufactuered 1964-71.

    yep, 133 is right,its a camper comp. 20" bbl,seems to be pretty accurate though. thank you forem. charlie
