Hip Pocket Holster for Kel-Tec

A lot of postings about holsters. I had the hip pocket problem with my .380 Kel-Tec. Couldn't find a holster I liked so I made my own. See pix:

It is light weight, won't turn in pocket and easy to draw the weapon. Made of wood, plexiglas, fiberglass cloth & glue. Anyone wanting details email me at rhmc24@yahoo.com

I went through a lot of pocket holsters for my KelTec P 13, until I found one that retained the pistol in my pocket satisfactorily, yet stayed in the pocket upon presentation. I heartily recommend the De Santis Gunhide for those looking for a first quality pocket holster for a reasonable price.

I carried my Kel-tec P3AT and 32 in the uncle mikes pocket holster. I have since spent the big bucks and purchased a Galco pocket leather holster which I like a lot better.

I don't know how the wood will hold up to sitting down and the flexing of a pocket. You may end up with a sliver in your butt![:0][:0]

Ingenious idea. Patent it and make em out of high density plastic.

My pix are of the 'work in progress'. Yes the flexing was a problem but by adding a couple layers of fiberglass cloth it has the strength and flexibility it needs. If I make another one, this design is developed as far as I'm concerned but other materials could be an improvement. This has stood the test of three months so far.

I'm still looking for the perfect side pocket holster that adds little to the gun thickness and stays in place.
