i just have to say that the win 94 has got me alot of deer. i was wondering tho about how much it is worth if anyone could give me a ballpark figure. it was passed on to me from my grandfather. i am not planning on ever getting rid of it. but am just curious if i would need to insure it in the future. serial #3963064 i think it was made in 1973 but not sure. no scratches it is in very good condition. when not hunting it is always locked away in a case

1944 is the year it was manufactured. Impossible for it to have a 22-inch barrel, as 20-inches was the only length offered at that time. 98% graded condition is possible, but is very unlikely for a gun of that era. Can you post pictures of it? Does it still have the front sight hood?

If it is truly a 98% factory original finish gun, $1000 is not out of the question.

Thanks Bert I kind of though it might be up around the 800.00+ mark .My brother traded some guy a shotgun for it.He said it had been in his closet for years and never used it.Guess I'll work on my brother now he will never use it either.
