Scope repair?

I've had a Weaver 3X9 (C9V) for awhile and the optics are foggy.Any place to get it perked back up.Thanks ST

    I sent a Weaver 3-9 variable back to Weaver about ten years ago for refurbishing. They did a bang-up job including new reticle, and returned to me for a cost of $45. With all the changes going on I'm not sure if that Weaver is the same one in existence today. IIRC I sent it to an El Paso address. Better phone them for confirmation, I don't have the number but shouldn't be hard to find.

    Weaver is now owned by Meade, and is no longer in El-Paso,Texas.

    Yes, only German scope they will work on is Weatherby, in addition to Weaver they won't work on Tasco, Bushnell, Leupold or Redfield. Must be nice.

    There is someone in El Paso still repairing the REAL Weaver scopes. Go to www.opticstalk.com and post yore ? over there. Somebody will point ya in the right direction.
    I believe the Weaver sight also has info on where to send the older scopes for repair.
