I have four 303 Rifles. According to the numbers they were manufactured in 1902,1914,1915,1926.
I do not know were to start.

Welcome to the forum. To set a value tell us exactly what models and other particulars they are/have and what condition they are in. Bore, wood and overall finish evaluation/explanation for each will go a long way to getting help on estimating a value. Pictures too of course. As far as selling, well you will get the most eyeballs if you sell at an on line auction. Next best is probably a gunshow, if you have one local. Worst would be consignment in some small out of the way shop with limited foot traffic. Lastly sell them individually, package deals can be easy but rarely get the best price. I have always found it amazing that when I'm shopping for a rifle, they are always very pricey. When I'm selling they aren't. Oh well that's the way it goes.......

303 Savage isn't the easiest/cheapest ammo to get your hands on nowadays. If the rifles are in shooter vis a vis collector grade condition? That's going to have to be part of the equation.

Thank you for the response. I did not know how to reply. I did go to the auction site. The rifles are all in good shape. I will probably work with one of the appraisal sites and pay to have them appraised.

Thanks for the information. I do not know how to check the bore. the 1902 (#22095) has an octogonal barrel. The 1914 rifle (#159102)is partially round and partially octogonal. The 1915 (#164808) has a round barrel as does the 1926 (#291889). All the stocks are in very good shape.

Have any been drilled and tapped ? Are the stocks and forends crack free ? How about bluing percentage ? Are they all original ? We sell alot of these and those 4 factors are the most important as in most of all collectable firearms. Your looking at $400-$600 each if they are clean and original.http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/MyAuctions.asp?Tab=3&Timeframe=0

    Wayne,

Model is the foremost key here. The first thing I thought of was the Savage made British .303. Until I saw the dates and suspected you had 4 model 1899/99's in .303 Savage.

The former in excellent condition will bring $250.00 The latters, from shootable grade to excellent will bring $400 something(closer to five on the right day of the week) to $1K for and in excellent shape model. Do the search as others have suggested but don't settle for selling it quickly for less than what it can bring. Make sure you note all options. A litle thing like sight differences can mean hundreds of dollars. -good luck

put em on starting at $1 ans see where they go, an appraisal is little good, unless the guy doing the apprasial wants to buy them, and them he is not going to give you that.
Also, spending the $ to get an apparaisal probally will cut out of your $ more than doing a true auction on those will
