Heritage Rough Rider-loose bbl

.22/.22Mag.

Barel is loose. up and down, side to side.
Fella says that the cases blow back and jam the cylinder. Gun looks brand new. Are these barrels threaded and pinned, or just pinned? Anybody had any experience with this sort of problem with them?

Any suggestions on remedies before I tear it apart?

Thanks, Dan.

mine is either threaded or pressed in as there is no cross pin...steel barrel, alloy frame...so if it is funky threads unscrew the ejector housing mounting screw & see if the barrel will unscrew or push out....hard to tell by drawings.....probably easiest to send it back for fix..but if you can tighten it some way get a dowel that will slide snugly in barrel & into cylinder when at full cock to check alignment for safety,...... heritage mfg,inc 4600 n.w. 135th st opa locka fl 33054

It's an $85 piece of junk. "Tear it apart"??????? Just tie a rope around the trigger guard, put it in a bucket and then fill the bucket with concrete. It may make a passable boat anchor.

You obviously have more $85's laying around than I do. No argument about the quality. i don't intend to keep it.

Thanks, spasmcreek for the info. I'll check it out.
