Does anyone know if the wood for a Remington 1100 will also fit a Model 11-48 and/or a Model Sportsman 48??

Thanks

Al

I have several remington shotguns and rifles. My question is this is there any reference manual available which states what stock will fit what. I have researched in particular 870, 11-48, 1100 and 1187 butt stocks and supposedly acording to some. All will fit on 11-48. Front stocks for the Auto's from 1100 and 1187 will fit on 11-48 but not the other way? Which I believe. Then the fitment size on the same model. Are 16 and 20 the same stocks? Will any of these fit on 742 or 7400. I have seen where the smaller bore 1100's are the same. You can't check remington sites because the part no.s are different because of checkering and stock grades. Boyds no longer shows many stocks. I really don't like calling them unless I am going to buy something. Hope someone on here knows of a source or a person familiar with them. In particular I have a 11-48 12, in need of both.
