romak-3 trunnion

Can an RPK (yugo or romanian) barrel trunnion be substituted for a romanian romak-3 trunnion? I am building a romak-3 in 7.62x54r and I am missing several original part's.
Any help in this build would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't know but if I were you I would ask at one of the many build it yourself AK forums out there.
