Well, I have always been a fan of the HK/CETME system.
Now, there are several guns available on aftermarket and new.
New: PTR 91 ($950) and Ohio Rapid Fire G3 ($750)
Used: Federal Arms FA91, Centurion 99, Springfield armory, Century CETME.
Just how good is FA91? I heard that it has forged (not stamped) receiver and the two reviews that I have seen are fairly good.
Anyone has experience with FA91?

I have one. It is ugly and the trigger is too heavy. But, I have shot lotsa 1-1.5 MOA groups with surplus ball ammo. NEVER had a jam in mambe 1000 rounds total. My little bro shot a 1 ragged hole group from prone with it from 100 yds. dont tell him I bragged on him or he might get a big head.
Anyway I sold my real HK 91, like the M1a better, but I will keep the federal arms, cause I am not worried about scratching it, and it shoots well.
The built in rail is FAR superior to the HK clamps.
It also will not shoot bullets heavier than 150 gr with any accuracy.
168 gr Match does not shoot any better ( a little worse) and 180 gr hunting ammo no joke 7 MOA!
I bought mine when they 1st came out

Most people that have owned a aluminum receiver HK will tell you that sometime after 1000 rds. it will start to fail. I would only recommend a stamped steel receiver, HK, FMP, Greek & PTR, stay away from Special Weapon.

thats why the aluminum is much thicker and uglier.
+1 on passing on the sw-91
    pass on the cetme also
