Value S&W New Departure,box,letter RL Jinks

What is the value of an excellent condition Smith New Departure in Excellent condition niclel,, I think 3" barrel, with the box and a letter dated 1974 stating it was shipped to NYC in 1897 and other information signed by R.L.Jinks Box is also very nice. Thanks for any information. Tried to register on SmithWesson forums but I have AOL and they won't allow my to register. Thanks

    XP100 - see my posting under S&W New Departure - I hit new topic rather than reply and it went to a separate posting - damn medication, allergies are killing me this year.
