Skeeter's
Thumb Saver
Torrence Ca 90504
US Pat No 4488371
I have looked the pat number up and no phone listing for them. Maybe some one has a couple they would like to sell at a reasonable price.

what is it for capt? maybe if we can google its purpose instead of its item name, we may hit paydirt.

..I'm pretty sure it's to assist in loading mags.

I have never seen one of thsoe but here is a little trick I learned that may help. On the Ruger MKII if you have two mags you have a speedloader. Take one mag held sideways and put the round cutout over the knob on the mag you want to load. Then pull down the mag that is sideways and drop in your rounds. I literally wore out my first MKII that I got in high school and had sore thumbs until I figured that out one day.

I went to the yellow pages and couldn't find the co or address the pat. date was back in the 70s so they may have went out of business. We use them on our Ruger Mark 1 ,2,and 3s and they work good to load the clips. I bought the last two at the gun shop and they were in a mark down bin and the new owners didn't know where they got them. My friends have watched them work and wanted some. Thanks for the ideas and the response. Still Hoping and looking[:D][V][:D][xx(]
