I have a Stevens rolling block in .25 RF with a half octagon, half round barrel. Serial number 363xx. Any idea when it was manufactured or what model it is? I will post some pics tomorrow, just curious if anyone might know off hand. I can't seem to find much about them especially with the half & half heavy barrel.

Sounds to me like you have a Stevens "Favorite". These are pretty common rimfire rifles. But certain much more common in .22 Caliber than the larger RF bore sizes. The Favorite was made in several model variations begining in the 1890's to about the mid 1930's. Do a search for "Stevens Favorite" on the auctions to see what they're going for.

...I could be all wet here, but weren't Favorites a falling block action, similar in appearance to a Win. 1885? I "think" the Little Scout was a rolling block type, and I have a rolling block type that has a barrel marked "Crack Shot", but I don't think it's the original barrel.
...Among the Crack Shot, Favorite, Marksman, Little Scout, No 14 1/2, etc, etc, there are so many variations that I haven't got a good handle on what's what. I had the web address of a real Stevens guru, but it doesn't work any longer. His user name here is Shooter Don, and he's the go-to guy for Stevens info. He has some auctions running now, and he'd be the man to talk to.
