Reblueing Question

I just bought an older Remington 1100. The gun was used for duckhunting so the owner painted the barrel. Also, the receiver is not pretty, with most of the blueing gone (some rust). What is the best way to get the paint off, and then reblue the barrel and receiver? Thanks for any input.

MOST PAINT CAN BE REMOVED WITH LAQUER THINNER OR PAINT REMOVER, TO GET A 'GOOD' REBLUE YOU'LL HAVE TO TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL GUNSMITH. IT SHOULD COST ABOUT $80/125 TO REBLUE A 1100 REC. AND BARREL.

Hello Look at the Brownells web site They have many items needed to refinish firearms This months news letter has some pictures I suggest one of their coatings.
