Help - I own a Taurus PT945 and it has a fixed rear sight. Does anyone make adjustable sights for this gun? If so, where can I get them?I've hear you can tap the rear sight to adjust right and left, but I'm not fond of this idea. Any help is appreciated.

Right now I'm looking for a micrometer sight for a Savage mod. 19 NRA.

What you need to do is purchase a copy of "Old Gunsights A Collector's Guide, 1850-1965" by Nick Stroebel.

The Ginral, Stroebel's book is a good reference but the prices are not current as the book has been out for about 9 years. I hope I am not violating the posting rules by saying there is a man named Gary Sellers who lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area who does (or did) deal in old sights.
Gary Fellers is the fellow that you are referring to.
While Nick's book is several years old now, the prices changes on the old sights have not been as prolific as the old guns that they were intended for.
