Safariland Holsters. What do you think?

Im especially interested in this one. I have a custom shoulder rig on order but its going to be 15 weeks and my CCW course makes me have a "proper" holster for my gun at the range for qualification. I was thinking this model would be a good and inexpensive rig to take there and wear until my rig arrives.

I'd see what Ken Null could cobble for you in short order, he's got some reasonable price holsters. Call him first. He's an ace for shoulder rigs.

Will your instructor let you use a shoulder holster?
    Ours wouldn't.

IMNSHO, Safariland's quality spiraled downward, out of control, when they started using their Safarilaminate instead of real leather.

If you want a quality shoulder rig, get a Galco.

    I second the Galco/* leather.

Put it on and forget its there.

Yeah the instructions they sent me said "proper holster" nothing else. They also didnt mention any caliber resitrictions unlike other courses my friends took in another county.

Glaco doest make a shoulder rig for a Steyr M9....the Safariland holster I mentioned is adjustable and since an M9 is very very close to a Glock 19 I think it would fit. Safariland thought it most likely would as well.
