I would like to know if any members of this forum have purchased and used the Rattlesnake Gun Grips at Auction # 72576882. If so, how much usage (shooting) have you done with them and how well have they stood-up to the task? Are they suitable for routing shooting usage or would you recommend them only for display?

Personally, I like snakes better than redneck grips[}:)], but how they wear will depend upon how they are processed. Snake skin is thin, and not terribly durable, but he may epoxy them in which case they should last just fine. Sorry, I am a herpetologist and could not resist the dig, I prefer my snake live.

I ordered a set for my 3rd gen smith and wesson 915 but they would not fit. too narrow. They look good and felt good and should be durable. My thought was to refinish the gun in a desert tan. Good guy though he said send it back no problem. I have one other pistol that has been out FOREVER getting hard chromed. When I get it back I will send my original grips for him to cover and the set I did not use.
