SIG 229 DAK trigger

I have a new 229 in the DAK. I like the trigger but the reset is very long. My friend has a 226 that is a lot more fired than mine and the trigger is a lot smoother. Does anyone know if the trigger will get smoother or if there is a way to shorten the reset?

i already bought and installed the "shorter trigger" is that the same thing. The reset isnt any different the trigger itself is just thinner making it shorter for the finger to get around. I have a hogue grip which is thicker and the trigger is easy to reach but doesnt change the reset
No, the short trigger just shortens the length that your finger has to reach, it does nothing to shorten the reset. The SRT is an internal mod Sig has to do at the shop.
i checked on google search for it. It appears that trigger system is only for the SA/DA models not the DAK i dont have access to the sig site from my current location. Am I wrong, thanks for the info so far.
That PDF link I gave you says only the SAO guns can't be done.
