I have just purchaced a group of Browning and Remington parts. Ineed to know how to tell the difeence between a Remington Model 11 and a Browning A-5 Breech Bolt. I would also like to have the measurements on these bolts so I can tell the difference in gauges. I know this sounds trivial but when you start looking at them they all look alike. Any help would be appreciated. If you can answer theese auestions you can leave them as a post here or send them to me at tradervic@txun.net.

unless you have parts from a know sorce to compair them to you will have a long, hard time of it. The a-5 and clones (rem./sav.) are all very similar and the browning even had parts changes (major) during it's 100 year production run. I've delt with most of the variations over the years and the only sure way to figure out what part is for what gun is to compair them. the belg. browning bolts will have the pv proof marks on them but thats it.
