Buds Gun Shop is selling these right now for $269. I can only think there is something wrong with them and they have to blow out the price to ger rid of them.

Mine works fine. That's about what I paid and I think it's a good deal. I never carry it and would rather spend a little more and get a glock though.

O.K. , a bunch of the 'gun people' just dont seem to like these for some odd reasons , they were one of the first to "copy" glock , now almost everybody has a 'plastic' version gun ??? Tn Highway Patrol issued these for a few years , I have sold several and personally own two (2) , a 9mm & a 40 cal. All with NO PROBLEMS !!!! they are an excellant buy and if me Dept. wasnt stuck on 'glock only' , I would be carrying one of these...Buy it , shoot it and be happy ......
    Thanks !!!

I don't like the trigger pull- Glock is better. I have a Sigma .40- it goes bang all of the time but just not as smooth/ accurrate as my glock.

Nothing wrong with them at all. The first version Sigma did have problems, but the VE version is fine. I have a few 9mms that I use as teaching guns for students who don't bring their own gun, they go bang every time.

They are a copy of glock (got sued for it) and they managed to make the design not work well.
That is why they suck, no I do not trust one.
I would buy a trade in glock for $100 more

    IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!

Are they the NEW "Sigmas" in which case he is selling them WAY WAY BELOW COST and I might add, they are VERY GOOD PISTOLS! (Been selling the new ones since they came out with 0 problems!) OR are they the OLDER original series Sigmas that were total FLOPS? With the ORIGINAL ones we were told by the Smith REP that they were good for about 2,500 rnds and then toss em in the TRASH! MOST did not seem to function out of the box.
IF THEY ARE THE NEW ONES YOU ARE NUTS NOT TO BUY A FEW AT THAT PRICE. They sell in my area (So. Co) for $425+ with 2 hi-caps.

    Now now Danno....

While I do not own any SW autos nor do I have plans to buy any, I can r epsect SOME of the SW line of semis. One thing I will say for the NEW SIGMAS...for all the years I have been selling them (yes I work in a gun shop) I have NEVER seen one have a problem.
I can NOT say the same for Glocks of late.

Bull. Fine guns. MANY more stories of Glock problems.

Same here, big reason for Glock prices lately is weakened dollar, nothing to do with quality/investment in their design. Never had a SW9VE or SW40VE come back with any problems.

Nothing but heavy trigger! Sigmas have gotten a bad rap from people
who give them bad reviews without owning or shooting! This pistol
is a great buy for the money!
