Hi there my first post.

I carry a Sig 229 for most of the year, but it's hard to conceal in the warmer weather. I am thinking about getting a Kahr .40SW.

Any thoughts would be of help.

Thanks
Ken

Check out the Galco Web Site: www.usgalco.com
They have a separate page for each model. They are pricey but very fine quality.
    also try www.gunaccesories.com/holsters
They have the largest selection on the web.
You can go from $25 for an Uncle Mike to $200 for a DeSantis.
I carry a Glock 26 and finally found the "one for me" at an Eastman Gun Show in Georgia.

stay away from the SOB holsters, they can and WILL eject the magazine if you sit down with it on...

Just as an opinion and not to flame. I have used SOB holsters for years with PP's, Glock's, fullsize 1911's, BHP's, Sig's, Kahr's and the list goes on. I have never, not once, had a mag eject by sitting down or any other situation by accident. I like them as holsters.

Rams, think about if you fall on your back with a SOB holster. How much damage will it do to your spine?
Get a good belt holster, outside pants or inside if you can wear one.

Most good quality SOB holsters, like Galco, has leather in place to protect the mag release button.

That said, SOB is not a comfortable way to carry in a car. It feels like a basketball in the small of your back and you have no hope of drawing the gun while seated. If you have a standup job, SOB works fine.

My suggestion is to take a long hard look at Galco's concealable. I have several I like them so much, and I have all the other holsters also, having tried everything.

If you are a thin guy a Galco Royal Guard or other mfg for IWB can work well also.
