Where can I get a composite replacement stock? Thank you in advance.

I don't have a picture but it looks like this ...

I think Ramline small ring stocks will fit. Choate also makes a stock for small ring Mausers.

Please tell me you are not going to cut that thing up? Is it actually still original?

Feenix, I'm with 1KYDSTR on this one, if it's all original, it's a rare piece.

Yes it is rare, and the most valuable of all the Swedish Mausers, if original. If original, the rifle could be worth $800 or more.

Thanks for your concern but I do not think mine was a collector's item. The stock was poorly reworked (probably not original), however, it is fully functional and very accurate. Thanks again.

If the metal has not been fooled with (D'ed and T'ed or cut etc..) it could be restored to a "correct" state and still be worth perhaps $600. There have to be stocks out there somewhere for a few hundred so it might be worth giving restoration a shot. Otherwise, if it's been cut up, a new stock would of course be in order. Yolu might want to try someone who imports Swedish guns as surplus or an importer of Swedish sporters (Allen Schisel?) who might have a line on a Swedish aftermarket supplier? Good luck...hope it's still in one piece!

Sorry, I bought it already drilled and tapped. Thanks again.
