Remington 7400 Stock

The comb is too high on the Rem 7400/7600 for comfortable use of iron sights. I don't want to cut it down. Is the Ramline aftermarket stock contoured for iron? I see it has no Monte Carlo hump.

Or should I just scrounge around till I can find a used stock from an older model Remington auto or pump?

My experience with Ramline stocks is that they suck. Who would have thought there was a synthetic stock with worse feel than a Savage?!

I tried a Ramline and found it too low for the scope mount I was using. Other than that problem, I didn't see much wrong with it. They are a little noisy but the fit is good. Contact me if you still want a Ramline.
