Winchester 94 sight question

Took my birthday present out to the range yesterday. Winchester '94 made in 1961 and never been shot. (Do I have a cool wife or what?) Anyway, shoots about 6" to the left at 100 Yds. Am I correct that the only correction for this is to tap the rear sight to the right? Don't want to mess it up.

Absolutely! Don't tap too much and be ready to go back and forth unless you're lucky. And that was A+ by your wife.

Move rear site about 1/8" at first to the right and site in at 25 yrds first. Great gift. Good Luck[:)][:)]
