It's almost time to start getting ready for the early season...
    I shoot a knight bk 92 with a 26" barrel 1-28 twist.
For the last number of years I've used a sabotted 45 cal 300gr XTP with a 90 gr equivalent charge of Pyrodex select RS. I'm out of XTP bullets and before I buy more I'm curious if any one has experimented with any of the new bullets that are out there??

If you are trying to look up info, the actual name of to search would be Model 1861. During these years, the year of maunfacture was stamped into the locks, not the model year. There were huge numbers of these manufactured, so the collectability factor is all with condition.

Could be anything from a mint condition original to a poor reproduction, with value anywhere from $200 to $5000+. As the Captain said, either a detailed description of wear and finish, bore condition, etc. is needed, or better yet some pics... at the moment you are saying the equivalent of "I have a 1967 Chevy what's it worth?" But I can say that it was the more or less standardized arm for much of the Union Army in the Civil War- though such a great array of weapons were used by both sides, there was no one true standard....
