35 rem bolt action

I listed a WTB 35 rem bolt action post. Researching in the Blue book I see there were old Win. 70s and some Rem. 7 KS custom shop guns available. I am looking for a hunter not a collector. Can anyone point me towards others that may be out there? Any that may be more common? Tell me if I am unreasonable in my request.
I appreciate your consideration and knowledge,
DL

I once had a Remington 600 in .35 Remington. Prices are up, no doubt, but one will sure be cheaper than a Model 70.

Brownell's sells .35 Rem barrels for small ring Mausers.

That was my thought. Skyhigh, try looking through the Mauser section for a sporterized Mauser.

a friend of mine has a pre-64 in a .35 Rem. extremely scarce gun.. the blue book states... " the scarcity of the .35 Rem precludes putting a value on such gun....

That Remington KS custom is not a collector, but rather a very nice hunting rifle, and shooter. They are expensive, in the $1200.00-1500.00 range, but imagine this...A petite little rifle, much like a Model 94 lever action, that weighs in at slightly over 6 lbs with a 3-9x compact Leupold scope, fully loaded in the magazine, and chamber, with a sling. I have one in 7MM-08, and a very scarce Model 7FS(made in 1987 only), which was a factory production run of the 7KS Custom, in 308 Win. They are very good shooters, and a dream to carry all day. The stocks on these rifles, are not the cheap injection molded type, but rather a fiberglass, Kevlar overlay type, and they seem to hold a zero better than wood does, from climate, and altitude changes. I believe Remingtom made a 700 Classic in 35 Rem. once, and Ruger might have chambered one also.
