Weaver VS Picatinny

Another most likely "stupid" question from me,.........but I am looking at a reflex multi-reticle sight that I can use on several of my guns. The question is will a sight that is made for a Weaver style base, also mount on a P-rail, as long as the rail is long enough, of course, to accomodate the sight body length. I believe it will, but want to make sure before I order it. I have several pistols, and rifles with Weaver rails, but also want to mount on a Picatinny Tac rail, on the upper handguard of an SKS aftermarket stock.
Thanks for any info!

I think it will be faster and more sure if you sit with your rails or mounts, measure and then reference these drawings to see if you can pull off the exchanging of the sight. This is a fairly complete set of drawing for the Picatinny rail and the spacing:

If you need some help figuring parts of it out, let us know.
Best.
100% interface. No fit/mount problem w/what you want to do.
Just make sure you push sight-ring forward so the crossbolt-lug is touching the rail lug, and don't over tighten.
Thanks Again
