Handi rifle in say 223 caliber?

I know it was asked before, yes I did search. Most results dated back a while.

Any opinions on them as a target/coyote gun? Tax return time, and I'm itching for a 223 rifle.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

A lot of guys up here in northern Maine use the .223 Handi-Rifle for shooting coyotes. Cann't give specifics on accuracy, but my brother-in-law has shot several at a little over 200 yards with one.

I've gotten sub 1 inch groups with mine but I haven't worked up a load for it yet. This was with factory loads and some I just threw together to try. They're a neat little shooter,I'd say get one.[:)][:)]

I don't like this rifle all that well... It is way too heavy and poorly balanced to ever be a practicle hunting rifle. It is not for a serious hunter. I have nothing bad to say about accuracy however.
