.30 carbine ammo

Question: military .30 carbine ammo dated 1943- 1953 are they corroisve. I have heard alot of the military ammo had corrosive type primers.

IIRC the 30 Carbine was never loaded with corrosive primers, here in the US.

USGI 30 carbine ammo was non-corrosive from the gitgo.....However, be aware that there is some Chinese-made corrosive carbine ammo out there that is headstamped LC 52......

+1 for Tailgunner and Hicap.

All US military 30 carbine is noncorrosive.

Do you know the manufacturer of the ammo you are referring too? If not, somebody on the forum might help with your question.
