Colt Sauer

I am in need of a front sight hood for a colt sauer Grand Alaska. Anyone have any ideas?

    I have loved these guns from the first time I seen them. Me and my friend (quite older) was telling me that colt sauer made a spiral (fluted) barrel at one time in the 70's but I searched and searched and cannot find any info. Now he is not your run of the mill gun talk guy, he has custom actions (bat) guns built by famous gunsmiths way back to howard wolfe so I dont doubt that he saw this gun. He said the gun was in a PT dept store (pt is long out of business). Anyone know or heard of these.? ps my uncle also said he seen these at grice gun shop back in the 70's. any info of these would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a Colt Sauer 22-250 with a Leupold Gold Ring 8X Scope. Both in excellent condition. Anyone have an idea of the value of this rifle It is unbelievable how accurate this gun is! Thanks

    new colt or older colt from the 70's ? The older colts have been offered for and going for $ 1000 + plus what ever the scope is worth.

    Not sure the age I would guess late 70's early 80's. I understand that they stopped making them in 1985?
