I just went to a gunshow and saw a bump action trigger assembly. you mount it to your trigger gaurd and it makes a semi into "fully" auto.
I know bump-fireing is not considered safe or smart but just wanted to know more about it. and i can't remember the company name, any help would be nice thanks

If you practice at it, it can be done without the little clip on spring.

Just support most of the weight of the rifle via the forarm grip. stiffen up your trigger finger and hold that hand steady. Then pull the rifle into the trigger with the supporting hand. Keep continued forward pressure on the rifle and the recoil will release pressure on the trigger allowing it to reset. It works better with lighter rifles. I can't do it with my FAL, but a 16 inch AR15 with collapsible stock will spit cases out in a steady stream.

It's a lot of fun, but not very accurate.

Sounds like a good way to burn up a lot of expensive ammo for not a very good reason. Better to learn "controlled fire", but that's just me.

The bump fire concept seems to be on the opposite end of the spectrum from the "one shot, one kill" sniper slogan.

But it sure is alot of fun. When you get good at it you can do it from the shoulder. [;)]

"Spray and Pray" is not an effective way to fire any weapon.

The coffee can in my back yard begs to differ from that opinion Old Fool ;)
