Need help identifying an old Browning Pump Shotgun. I would like to know the model and approximate worth. The only marks I can find are on the lower trigger guard: 68642-B and then near by the number 2 with a circle around it. The shotgun is full choke. The blue and stocks show heavy wear. I estimate the gun to be in 'fine' condition. Mechanically there seem to be no problems. Any help you can offer is appreicated.

In the early 1900's John Browning designed the Model 520 pump for Stevens. His name was prominently marked on the barrel by Stevens for marketing purposes. The most distinctive feature of this shotgun was the square "hole" on the top of the receiver, this is how the bolt locked up when the shotgun was ready to fire.

This might be the shotgun your inquiring about? If this is a 520"? In the condition you describe, it would be probably in the $50 - $150 range.
