Hello I just purchased a Winchester 770 in 270 i cant find any info about this gun. Can you guys help?

    What is the story with the 770. Local gunshop has one. Didn't look too close but appeared to have the push feed action and a blonde stock. Actually kind of a nice looking piece this on was a 7MM Mag. What years were they made? How many? and why called 770?
