Please help me determine the value of this Winchester M94 I saw for sale today.
Model 94-32 Special
Serial Number is 3,244,xxx
Plain Walnut Stock
Metal Buttplate
Round Barrel
Can you tell me what year it was made and value? Condition is 92% or so. Only slight blue wear on receiver.

Thanks!

It was manufactured sometime during the very early 1970s, and is not considered collectable. Even in like new condition, it is worth <$300.

Thanks. I knew it was a post-64 by the serial number, but didn't know when it was made. I wasn't expecting a metal buttplate. I passed on it at $250 which I thought a fair price but no bargain. Think I'll wait for an older one. If it had been $200, it would have gone home with me.

I just picked up A Mod.94 32 spl. at a gun show that was made in 1949 in really nice cond.NO RUST!!I've been looking for one for years but most prices were all over 450.00 also I was a little pickey, I wanted one with the longer forarm stock, and not drilled out for a sling, I ask the guy what he wanted for it and he said 350.00,,,,I couldn't write the check fast enough.
    Shot my first buck with a 32 spl.in 1971 it's a great deer gun!

I realize that you are a relative newby to this forum, but for the umpteenth time, the information on that website is not accurate for the majority of the various Winchester models DOM information... in some cases, it is not even close[xx(].

Right off the top of my head, serial number 1,667,0xx was manufactured circa 1952. For reference purposes, serial number 1,500,000 was presented to then President Harry S. Truman in May of 1948. Winchester wasted no time in building that particular Carbine... they assembled and finished it as quickly as possible after the receiver was milled, polished, and the serial number applied. Yearly production totals for the Model 94 at that time was approximately 50,000 guns per year.

Forgot to add... I will need to review my records for serial number 1,097,8xx, but 1935 may be close.
