I need some information aobut these rifle the serial number is 3773
If any body knows when where made and how many of them where made !

    Made in 1936, in New Haven Conn. Just one was made with that serial number.

    Winchester Model 70 serial number 3773 was manufactured in 1937 versus 1936. Winchester manufactured 1.5 million Model 70s before they got out of the firearms manufacturing business in early 1981. The U.S. Repeating Arms Company manufactured a few million more Model 70s from 1981 - 2006. The most common caliber/cartridge is/was the 30-06 (a.k.a 30 GOV'T 06).
