Anyone ever shot one?
Does it hurt on both ends? I have an opportunity to pick one up-inexpensively. I tend to thuink it may be a good investment or a boat anchor, don't relly see much in between for the .50 BMG-it being the lastest object of villification with the anti's

    Friend of mine back in PA is an FFL and has one. I have shot it, feels like a 3.5" 12 gauge. I would get one if I could ever find a really good deal on a used one.

    Biggest problem is most ranges wont allow the 50bmg.

    Then you have the "OTHER SHOOTERS" that will pitch a gripe that the 50bmg is too loud.

    Loved my AR50, but everybody else hated it.

    But the 50BMG's are neat to shoot 1000meters, or killing a gallon jug @ 300m.
