I have a Burgo Cal 38 Special that my Father-in-law used when he was a security guard. It is in pretty good condition and I was wondering what a gun like this would be worth. It also has some short of a head engraved by the barrel with HW 38 engraved underneath.

We just had a post on Burgo marked German revolvers yesterday.

My reference noted that they were made by ROHM, obviously since yours was made by Hermann Weihrauch, ( ARMINIUS ) my reference was wrong. The good news is that Weihrauch made better quality handguns then ROHM, the bad news is it's still not worth a great deal. Your probably looking at between $75 & $175.
