winchester 43 bolts Interchange

I have a winchester model 43 in 218bee,and it is lacking the bolt assy,,,what other cals will interchange,,,???..thank you,,,JIM

    Hello Remember that even thou all model 43's are centerfire and the fireing pin does come out of the bolt face at the same spot[:)] The head of each case may or may not be the same[xx(]the 25-20 and 32-20 are the same But the 22hornet is different from either of these and the 218Bee shows it is within .002 of both the 32-20 and 25-20 so if you have a 218 bee you could use a 32-20 or 25-20 bolt [:p][:p] but not a 22 HORNET bolt[:(] unless you did a lot of machine work on the bolt. Remember that even if the bolt will work you may have a slight head space problem This whould not bother me as much on a model 43 as they are fairly low pressure cartridges and head space off of the rim.
