I was hoping someone could share whatever knowledge they may have concerning the chambering, ballistics, etc?
Thanx in advance[:)]

Well, a quick check shows that it's based on the 404 Jeffery's, and holds about 104.8gr of water.
The 300 Weatherby holds about 103.2gr water.
Both of these measurements are from the same source.

The 300RUM (another cartridge based on the 404 Jeff) holds about 112gr of water, but that measurement is from a different source (exact procedure may be different).

Using those figures, you should expect it to perform similar to the Weatherby. Brass could be made from either the Jeff or the RUM casing.

Thanx, Tailgunner. I had seen that chambering mentioned once or twice over many years but never knew anything 'bout it.
