My wife is interested in this shot gun. She primarily shoots a 12 ga. Silver Pidgeon II and is interested in a SXS. Anybody shot one? any comments?
Thanks.

Never shot one, but I will say I have only heard nothing but good things about any CZ. I'm sure someone else will come bye and give a hands on opinion.

On the shotgun boards they get a pretty hard rap for not being durable. They seem to have put more into pretty at Huglu than into substance. I looked hard, and didn't buy.

I recently purchased a Ringneck 20 ga SXS and I love it. The only downside is that it has extractors not ejectors.

I purchased the model with the upgraded wood and IMHO it is a very nice looking gun. I have only shot a couple hundred rounds through it but is has been flawless.

Huglu has come a long way in the last few years so I think it has just not shaken the reputation of its earlier learning curve. Every manufacturer makes a lemon here and there. CZ USA has a great customer service from my dealings. I have a CZ Semi Auto 12gauge made by Huglu. I have shot the hell out of it and after 3 years of shooting a ton, the firing pin broke. They sent me a new one free without any fuss, and I put it in myself. They would have, but I had the knowhow. They come with a 5 year warranty. CZ does not usually put their name on junk.

Thanks for the help. I think there will be one under the Christmas tree for Beth. Hope January is warm enough to shoot some clays with it.
