I am interested in purchasing an automatic weapon but I do not know and Sheriffs or the local Police Chief. Can I have it transferred to my LLC or do I need to be Incorporated?

Today will be a rainy, 5hitty day in phx, feel free to give me a call and I'll walk you through it, with an LLC it's really much easier to do NFA paperwork.

What are the advantages of forming a trust. Does it mean if one lives in a state that doesn't allow full auto one can then have a full auto? If not then why do a trust?

NO, you still have to follow all state and federal laws. A trust (or LLC) is not above the law.

A trust and a LLC are basically a way to buy NFA items when you do not have a LEO that will sign for you as a "person". A trust or an LLC is not a "person" so there is not finger printing, photos, or LEO sign off.

You would have to talk to your CPA about the advantages of an LLC vs a trust. Most places it take a little more paperwork, and money to maintain the LLC.
