remington 700 stock question

Could someone tell me if a stock that came off of a Rem 700, 30-06 would also fit a Rem 700 7mm Mag? Thank You

    Can a BDL stock be installed on a ADL rifle? Long action to long action of course. Isn't the only difference in the metal stuff the hinged floor plate vs solid floor plate between BDL, and ADL?

    Yes it will fit the receiver However if one barrel is say a heavy flutted barrel and the other is a light weight then the barrel channel will not be correct I would measure the diameter of barrel 12 inches in front of the receiver if both the same you are good to go. [:)]
