Hi,I was given an iver johnson carbine, that looks pretty well taken care of,but when i took it to the range, after about 10 rnds, the bolt didnt close,so i emptied it,took it home then apart and the gas piston nut had come almost completely out.the threads didnt look so hot, especially on the nut but also in the gas block,I ordered the nut, piston and wrench.my question(s)are these:1 is this common,2 how snuggly do i tighten the gas piston nut,3 if this sounds like a serious problem, what remedy?I was going to give it to my 12 yr old god son for hunting but not if its unsafe.thanks
